Convert BMP to PDF

Combine BMP images into a single PDF in seconds. Put the pages in the order you want and download one document. Everything happens in your browser.

Your file never leaves your device.

How to convert BMP to PDF

Add one or more BMP images, reorder them, and they are placed one per page in a new PDF, each page sized to fit its image without cropping. It is the fastest way to send scanned receipts, photographed documents, homework or a portfolio as one tidy file. The PDF is created on your device, so personal documents are never uploaded.

  1. Step 1: Add your BMP files

Drag and drop a .bmp, .dib file onto the converter or click to browse. It works on desktop, tablet and phone.

  2. Step 2: Arrange the pages

Move files up or down to set the page order, or remove the ones you do not need.

  3. Step 3: Create the PDF

Download a single PDF containing all your images in order.

Good to know

  • Photos taken sideways are placed as they are stored; rotate them first if a page appears the wrong way.
  • Each page takes the size of its image, so mixed portrait and landscape images all fit perfectly.

Why use this BMP to PDF converter?

  • Many images, one PDF.
  • You choose the page order.
  • Full resolution is kept.
  • Created locally, never uploaded.

Is it free?

Yes. Converting BMP to PDF is free, with no watermark, signup or email required. Local conversions have no artificial file-size or daily cap; the practical limit is your device.

Is my file uploaded?

The BMP file is processed entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded, never stored and never seen by anyone, so this is safe for confidential files.

About the formats

What is BMP?

BMP, also called DIB (device-independent bitmap), is a raster image format that Microsoft introduced with Windows. It usually stores every pixel uncompressed, so image quality is untouched but files are very large. The format is simple and widely readable, yet it offers little that PNG does not do better.

Use BMP only when an old program, a device or an embedded system specifically requires it. For everyday use, convert BMP files to PNG to keep the same quality at a fraction of the size, or to JPG for photos.

What is PDF?

PDF (Portable Document Format) reproduces a document exactly as it was laid out, regardless of the device, operating system or software used to view it. It is the standard choice for sharing, printing and archiving documents whose appearance must not change. Text-based PDFs can be converted to Markdown, plain text or HTML here.

Use PDF whenever the layout matters more than editing, reports, invoices, contracts, résumés and anything you need to share or print so it looks identical everywhere. Choose PDF when recipients should see exactly what you saw, with no fonts or margins shifting.
