What data we process

We process the files you choose to convert. The content of those files is used only to produce the converted output and is never read for any other purpose, never shared and never used to train models. We also process a minimal set of technical data (page URL, browser type, approximate region) when you allow analytics.

Local processing

All other conversions run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. The source file is read on your device and the result is produced there. Nothing is uploaded for these conversions.

Server processing

The DOCX to PDF tool (which also accepts .doc files) runs on our servers with LibreOffice. Your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, converted, and deleted automatically once the PDF is generated. We never store files after conversion and we never use them for anything else.

Analytics

When you consent, we collect anonymous, aggregate events (which pages are visited, whether a conversion completed) to understand how the service is used. Analytics are provider-agnostic: events are stored on our infrastructure only if it is configured, and we never collect file contents.

Cookies

Azpy stores your consent choices and theme preference in your browser's local storage; no cookie is needed for that. Paid accounts also receive a small signed cookie that records their subscription entitlement. Google and its partners may set their own cookies when Google advertising or consent-management scripts are active on a page. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time from the consent banner.

Advertising

We show advertising on free tool pages through Google AdSense. The AdSense loader and Google's consent-management scripts are part of the page; ad units appear only on configured placements and never influence or cover the conversion interface. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, measure ad performance and, where you have given the appropriate consent (managed through Google's consent controls), show personalized ads. You can change or withdraw consent at any time through the consent banner. Your rights

You can contact us to ask what data we hold about you, request its deletion, or object to processing. Because anonymous conversions store nothing, there is usually nothing to delete, but we will respond to every request within 30 days.
